Abrasive belt CS 330 X – the ideal abrasive for metal processing Klingspor designed this abrasive belt CS 330 X primarily for sanding and polishing stainless steel and steel. The abrasive belt CS 330 X by Klingspor is equipped with a cloth backing made of X-cotton, which is distinguished by its long life and superior flexibility. The abrasive material used is a combination of silicon carbide and cork and offers exceptional polishing properties. The close coating of the abrasive material and its bonding with fully synthetic resin allows the abrasive belt to achieve a long service life. These properties make it especially ideal for metal processing. The cork granulate acts as the backing material for the silicon carbide. This material is marked by properties that make it ideal primarily for soft sanding and polishing. The result are surfaces of unmatched fineness and minimum scratch depths, allowing the user to polish and coat the surfaces immediately after sanding them. The coating is applied by, for instance, chrome plating or anodising. This premium and specialised belt produces a consistant matte-satin finish.
